team approved the X9 Ultra for production and release in 430cm, 460cm and 490cm lengths. However, reflecting the specific
objective of the test program – to clearly demonstrate the durability of each design, the team did not approve for production
the 530cm & 580cm masts.
This was due to wind conditions preventing the team from reaching the d number of sailing hours
per mast needed to make a confident production decision. For these critical sizes, durability testing is ongoing and a
release date will be announced following the successful conclusion of the program."
